RECOMMENDATION SUMMARY

That Council resolve to determine the seating arrangements to apply in relation to Council meetings held during the current mayoral term commencing 7 November 2019 and ending 24 October 2020.

At its meeting on 22 November 2016, Council resolved to determine seating arrangements at Council meetings at the first Council meeting following the Special Council meeting to elect the Mayor each year.

BACKGROUND

At its meeting on 22 November 2016, Council resolved to determine seating arrangements at Council meetings at the first Council meeting following the Special Council meeting to elect the Mayor each year.

Proposal

It is proposed that the seating arrangements set out below apply for the period through 24 October 2020:

Under section 80C of the Local Government Act 1989 officers providing advice to Council must disclose any interests, including the type of interest.

The Responsible Officer reviewing this report, having made enquiries with the relevant members of staff, reports that no disclosable interests have been raised in relation to this report.

Conclusion

It is proposed that the immediate past Mayor, Cr Cox, be seated as set out in the table in the report.
